Karol Szczepański: Meeting: Hydra W3C Community Group Conference Call

Topic: Finalize manages block PR

Karol Szczepański: This was approved by me and angelo
... merged it
Tomasz Pluskiewicz: This should close a number of old issues, which might wake some people

Topic: Discuss cookbook PR #9

Karol Szczepański: I am fine with it as is
... can live with the duplication
Tomasz Pluskiewicz: The ones we already have are not really drafts anymore
Tomasz Pluskiewicz: Should be fine to merge now
Karol Szczepański: indeed
Karol Szczepański: all checks are ok, merge

Topic: Revisit property supported operations design - issue #196

Tomasz Pluskiewicz: It might be more complicated. I am sure most people would already be doing it the same way as in the example
Tomasz Pluskiewicz: vocab:EntryPoint/myAccount
Discussing the api-demo example
Angelo Veltens: conclusions:
Angelo Veltens: - spec does allow supportedOperation on both: property and supportedProperty
- it might be confusing to have to many possibilities
- the cookbook should provide best practices
- same origin policy might be applied to trust only statements that came from the api itself
Karol Szczepański: how shall we proceed with the issue?
Tomasz Pluskiewicz: We will get there with the cookbook eventually
... supportedOperation of property is missing as an example in the spec, we could add this
Angelo Veltens: serialseb: Let's get feedback from API developers
Angelo Veltens: serialseb: Let's get feedback from API developers
ACTION: <serialseb will add a comment to issue and attempt a PR for the documentation>

Topic: Decide on next piece of movies example API

Angelo Veltens: aveltens: We should be able to list movies that were added
Tomasz Pluskiewicz: Sounds reasonable
Angelo Veltens: aveltens: Will finish the "Create Movie" part of the cookbook before
Angelo Veltens: aveltens: I will be able to spend less time on it
Tomasz Pluskiewicz: i would like to deploy some really working code
Angelo Veltens: serialseb: I can put some time on it
... e.g. implementing the example with openrasta
... perhaps on saturday
ACTION: aveltens will start working on listing movies, after finishing the cookbook example

Topic: Get a grip on collection ordering issue #172

Karol Szczepański: shall we move on, or postpone?
Tomasz Pluskiewicz: The main person regarding that issue is not present
present+
Angelo Veltens: serialseb: This could be in an additional spec that covers the more complicated stuff
Karol Szczepański: We discussed extensions multiple times
... lets focus on the core
Karol Szczepański: We postpone this to the next call
... maybe peter will join as next time
Apologies - did this call start 7 minutes ago or an hour and 7 minutes ago? The wiki wasn’t very clear
Karol Szczepański: unfortunately, it started 1 hour and 7 minutes ago
sounds good - I will adjust my calendar notification for next time!
Karol Szczepański: excellent - I'm looking forward to hearing you next time!
